Rachel Hodge
Rachel is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who offers psychological therapy and assessment for adults 16+ who are struggling with mental health and general life difficulties.
Rachel has worked for a number of years at the CDHB in several roles. She is experienced in both working with adults experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems as well as working with those who are experiencing psychological consequences of physical health problems. Rachel has an integrative approach to therapy which is influenced by the concerns an individual brings to therapy, by the individual themselves, and by the psychological research regarding the problem. Rachel’s main therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Metacognitive therapy, and Mindfulness.
Please note, Rachel is not currently able to pick up new therapy or assessment clients. If you are looking for Cognitive Analytic Therapy specifically, please contact her directly.
Please note I am currently not picking up new therapy or assessment clients and have closed my books for 2023.
